​Ethereum Build Sprint @ NIT Trichy

​Join us for the Ethereum Build Sprint at NIT Trichy, a hands-on build day bringing together students, developers and the curious ahead of Devcon's historic first edition in India.

​As Devcon comes to Mumbai this November, this event exists to do one thing: get you past reading about Ethereum and into actually building with it. A morning workshop takes you from zero to a deployed contract. A 6-hour mini-hackathon turns that into something of your own.

​This is not a crypto-price talk or a slide-heavy meetup. It's a working session on the values Ethereum is built on: censorship resistance, open source, privacy and security, taught through code you write yourself.

​What to Expect

​Hands-on Ethereum Workshop
Set up a wallet, send your first transaction, and deploy a smart contract nobody can take down. Everything runs in the browser, no prior blockchain experience needed.

​Privacy and Security, for real
A first taste of zero-knowledge proofs (prove something without revealing it) and a live look at how smart contracts get exploited, and how to defend them.

​6-Hour Mini-Hackathon
Pick a theme, form a team, and build something small that ships. AI-assisted coding is encouraged. Mentors float throughout. Solo builders get matched on-site.

​Road to Devcon
Learn how to get to Devcon 8 in Mumbai this November: the $25 student ticket, the $100K+ ETHGlobal hackathon, scholarships, volunteer slots and the wider Ethereum opportunity.

​Demos and Awards
Teams demo what they built at the end of the day. Six teams take home prizes.

​1st place: ₹3,000
2nd place: ₹2,000 each (two teams)
3rd place: ₹1,000 each (three teams)

​Plus merit recognition for standout work on security, privacy and open-source quality.
