This Mandela Day, we come together to honour Madiba's legacy through action, community, and creativity. Join us for a special edition of the Khaltsha Jam, Ride & Gallery – dedicated to 67 minutes of community-building in Khayelitsha.
🚲 THE RIDE – 11:30 PM
A relaxed 90-minute community ride through Khayelitsha. We ride to celebrate unity, freedom, and the power of community. All welcome. Bicycles available on request.
🎨 THE GALLERY – From 12:30 AM
Visual art from local Khayelitsha artists – works that reflect Madiba's values of reconciliation, hope, and humanity.
🎵 THE JAM – From 1:45 PM
Stripped-down acoustic performances from Nguzo Saba Institute artists and community talent – songs of freedom, hope, and unity.
Free entry. If you're able, select the Community Supporter – R50+ Donation ticket. Your contribution supports youth cycling programmes at Khaltsha Cycling Academy and arts education at Nguzo Saba Institute.
Every rand stays in Khayelitsha.
