Let’s Talk About It: The Mental Load of Breastfeeding & Pumping
No matter how your feeding journey has looked—whether you breastfed for years, pumped around the clock, combo-fed, stopped after a few days, or never breastfed at all—you deserve space to talk about it.
Join us for an honest, pressure-free conversation about how breastfeeding and pumping can affect your mind, body, and mental health. Led by Amanda Wilkinson, Lactation specialist and Owner of Weeding the Garden: Peer Support & Coaching, alongside Alli Bankston, Navara's Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C), this session is all about normalizing the emotional highs, lows, and everything in between when it comes to feeding your baby.
What We’ll Talk About:
Feeding & Feelings – How breastfeeding or pumping can impact your emotional and mental health in ways that often go unspoken.
Your Journey Is Valid – No matter how long or how far you went, your experience matters—and it’s not a contest.
The Power of Choice – Making feeding decisions that are best for you, your baby, and your mental well-being.
Letting Go of Shame – Unpacking the guilt, grief, pressure, or pride that can all coexist in the same story.
