Bean Head Walk & Talk
Join us at Bean Head Coffee Bar for a free scone and a stroll to Brandywine Park! Whether you're looking to get moving or meet new people, this event is the perfect chance to connect with nature and others.
We'll gather at Bean Head to pick up our free scone and morning brews (on your own tab) at 9am, then head out at 9:30am for a scenic 2-mile walk along the Brandywine River. Afterward, we’ll return to Bean Head to go about your day!
This is a free event but we ask you register so we know you're joining us! Optional community support tickets help cover the time, planning, and care it takes to keep gatherings like this available to all. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds—and your support is deeply appreciated. 💛
What should I bring? Just bring yourself, wear comfortable, supportive shoes and layer clothing as needed, and be ready to grab your own coffee or tea before we start the walk at 9:30am.
Is the event dog friendly? Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join! If you’re bringing your furry friend, please ensure they’re comfortable around other people and pets.
Is the walk stroller or wheelchair accessible? The path has hills and uneven sidewalks, which may be tough for strollers and difficult for wheelchairs. We’ll go at a relaxed pace but please plan based on your mobility needs.
What is parking like? 2-hour street parking is available and the Trinity Parking lot on 11th St. is free on Sat & Sun.
