Happy Hour with Seattle Women and Climate Community
Join Seattle Women and Climate Community (SWACC) at the Bale Breaker/Yonder Cider Taproom for our annual PNW Climate Week Happy Hour! Whether you're new to SWACC or you've been coming to events for years, this is a fabulous opportunity to connect with other climate-minded folks in a casual and welcoming environment.
Who is invited?
This event is for those identifying as women or nonbinary. We occasionally have events for other friends and allies so if that is not how you identify, stay tuned for future events.
Transportation:
Bus stops for the 28 and 40 lines are within 0.2 mile. The 44 line is within a half mile.
Street parking is available in the area around the taproom.
Important Information:
We'll be located outdoors on the patio. Bring hats, sunscreen, shades, or raincoats as appropriate.
Dogs (leashed and well-behaved) are welcomed and encouraged.
There will be a food truck on site. You can also bring in outside food (but not beverages).
Bale Breaker/Yonder is graciously providing this space free of charge, so please support them in turn by purchasing a beverage if at all possible!
Space is limited. If turnout is high, we may need to turn people away at the door. Please cancel your registration if you can no longer attend to free up space for someone on the waitlist.
About Seattle Women and Climate Community (SWACC): We are a local group of climate-minded organizers (formerly affiliated with Women and Climate), who bring women and non-binary climate-curious individuals together to build relationships, network, learn, take action and have fun in the greater Seattle area. Our community has grown a lot in the last 2+ years, and we now organize independently of the global WAC City Lead program. Sign up for our Seattle community newsletter here.
