Glific Build-a-Bot Live Workshop
Bring an idea, see a WhatsApp chatbot come to life.
Wondering whether a WhatsApp chatbot could work for your community? Come see it in action.
In this 90-minute, hands-on workshop, the Glific team will build WhatsApp chatbot prototypes live around real use cases shared by NGOs. You’ll see how an idea can turn into a working bot that people can test on their phones, all in one session.
What happens in the session?
Explore what chatbots can do: See real examples of NGOs using WhatsApp for FAQs, reminders, data collection, learning and more.
Watch live builds in breakout rooms: Selected organisations will share their use cases, which we'll group by common themes. The Glific team will build prototypes live in parallel breakout rooms. Join a room to observe the process, ask questions and see how a chatbot takes shape around a real programme need.
Show and tell: See what each room has built and hear the organisations' first reactions.
Open Q&A: Ask us anything about costs, implementation effort, languages, low-literacy users or getting started.
Why attend?

Have a use case in mind?
Share it when you register! We'll select a small number of organisations to have their use cases built live during the session. Selected organisations will receive a working prototype and up to $5 in messaging credits to test it with their teams.
Even if your use case isn't selected, you're welcome to join the workshop, observe the builds, ask questions and explore what's possible for your organisation.
No technical background needed. Just bring your questions and curiosity!
