Gaza Fundraiser: Chanukah Craft Night
What does it mean to resist? Who/what are you resisting? What are you fighting for? Who is that benefiting? What are your values? How does that shape who you are?
“We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.” — Elie Wiesel

As the days get shorter, and the darkness of winter caves in, may we find the remaining ember inside. Chanukah is the holiday of light and resistance. May we remember why we are here.
Join us for a night of crafting in community while we reflect on what it means to resist and rise up against our oppressors. Leave with a piece of art that shapes who you are.
What to bring: A journal to create in, art supplies and snacks to share with the community. Some art supplies will be available.
100% of proceeds from this event will be going to Ghadeer and her family, individuals we personally know in Gaza, so they can afford food, water, and shelter.
