Come as you are. Bring whatever you're working on.

​Art & Connect is a casual get-together where you do your own thing with art — and art is a loose term here. Collage, knitting, colouring, sketching — whatever you've been meaning to sit down with. You don't need to be an artist. You just need to want to make something.

​What makes these gatherings different is the format: there's no agenda and no pressure to socialise on cue. You can focus on your project, drift into a conversation when something catches your interest, then quietly return to what you're doing. It's a genuinely easy way to be around people.

​This round we're joined by Hooi See @quirkybirdiepainter, the artist behind those quirky watercolour birdies, who'll open the morning with a small activity to get us started.

This time, refreshments are included.
In the past, our Art & Connect gatherings have been held at cafés where everyone bought their own drinks. This time, we're covering it — so just bring yourself and your project.
