​About Vals

​Vals AI is an evaluations startup based in-person in San Francisco. We focus on testing models on a range of difficult and realistic benchmarks for economically valuable tasks (law, coding, finance, social mobility, etc.) We recently closed a $40M Series A and are looking to grow our research, platform, policy, and GTM teams this year. Our work has been cited in the New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal, and we have sold to every major foundation model lab.
