About Event

Who is Maddi Fest?
Ten+ years in the modeling world. Campaigns for Savage X Fenty, Fanta, and Google. Ads on NYC subway cars and billboards. And just as many meaningful years working with local photographers, small businesses, and independent creatives in San Francisco.

Maddi built her career from scratch with no connections, no blueprint. What she found along the way is that the most fulfilling work often lives outside the traditional industry. This workshop is about all of it.

What is this workshop?
A three-hour lecture and experience for anyone who uses their body as a tool for storytelling. Whether you want to sign with an agency, collaborate with local creatives, build a presence online, or simply figure out what any of this even means to you — the foundation is the same. Knowing who you are before anyone else gets to decide. Following an hour reserved for you to walk away with digitals of your authentic self.

What will we actually do?
We open with a grounding meditation and set the container for the space together. From there it moves through three areas:

The inner work — accepting your starting point, setting intentions, building boundaries that are actually yours, and getting clear on what you want from your creative life.

The industry reality — how it works, who holds the power, the difference between modeling as a transaction and modeling as a creative practice, and why the local creative scene is one of the most underrated places to build something real.

The business side — how to collaborate, pitch yourself, advocate professionally, and use social media intentionally without losing yourself in it.

What do I walk away with?
Clarity. A framework that you can apply for life. And 5–8 finished, professionally edited headshots shot by Tet Aung — San Francisco-based editorial, commercial, and portrait photographer. Agency-ready, but yours to use however feels right.

Who is Tet Aung?
Tet grew up in Burma surrounded by rich cultural heritage and discovered early the power of visual storytelling. Now based in San Francisco, his work blends texture, color, and high-concept vision into imagery that captures individuality without flattening it. He'll bring that same intentionality to your headshots.

Who is this for?
Anyone who started creating because it felt alive — and somewhere along the way started showing up for everyone else's vision instead of their own. Models, influencers, collaborators, creatives. No experience required. An open mind is.

Who is this not for?
If you're looking for a formula to book more work, fit an industry mold, or become famous — this isn't that. This is for people ready to do the inner work first.
