​Underwater Photography Workshop for Freedivers

​Combine your passion for freediving with the art of underwater photography.

​Designed especially for certified freedivers, this full-day workshop will help you create stronger underwater images while becoming more comfortable, stable, and confident with a camera beneath the surface.

​The day includes a photography and equipment session, guided practice in shallow water, and a boat session in the open sea, where you will apply your skills in real conditions.

​You will learn in a small group how to:

• ​Work with underwater held, and composition

• ​Photograph freedivers, movement, and underwater scenes

• ​Improve your body position, buoyancy, and stability with a camera

• ​Adapt to different conditions, including changing visibility, sunlight, depth, water color, and weather

• ​Understand how each condition creates a different visual result, and how to use it creatively rather than waiting for “perfect” conditions

• ​Choose and use the camera system that best suits your needs, experience, and budget

​You will have the opportunity to try different types of underwater photography gear, from smartphone housings and action cameras to more advanced systems. You are also welcome to bring your own camera.

​Throughout the day, you will take part in practical exercises and creative challenges, with personalized guidance and feedback on your photos.

​You will leave with new underwater images, stronger photography skills, greater confidence using a camera while freediving, and a clearer understanding of how to photograph in a variety of underwater conditions.

​Participants will also receive personalized gear recommendations and access to selected discounts if they would like to continue developing their practice.

​Prerequisites

​Participants must have completed a beginner freediving course and be comfortable practicing in open water.

​Freediving equipment is not included and must be brought or rented separately. You can also bring your own camera equipment or use ours.
