Postpartum Peace — Nurturing Moms and Newborns with Care and Tradition
Welcoming a new baby can be one of the most beautiful and overwhelming times in a woman’s life. For many Asian families, postpartum recovery is not just a physical process — it’s deeply cultural, rooted in tradition, community, and care.
In this workshop, Stephanie Lin will guide us through how thoughtful postpartum care — whether rooted in tradition or adapted to modern lifestyles — can support healing, bonding, and peace of mind for new parents.
What you’ll learn:
An overview of postpartum support options, including live-in vs. part-time care
The cultural significance of postpartum practices in Asian households (e.g., confinement, herbal care, nutrition)
How to build a postpartum care plan that centers you — your values, needs, and support system
Tips for navigating care decisions with family, in-laws, and evolving expectations
Who this is for:
Expectant moms, new parents, soon-to-be aunties and lolas, or anyone supporting someone in the fourth trimester. Whether you're honoring traditional postpartum rituals or forging a new path, you'll walk away with grounded insights and resources to support the transition into parenthood — with care, not chaos.
