It’s time to refresh your wardrobe, clear out your closet, and hang out with the community! Here is everything you need to know about joining our upcoming clothing swap:
📍 Showroom Venue Spotlight:
We’re excited to host this event at More Space Place Austin, a locally and woman-owned custom storage and cabinet showroom! To give you a true boutique shopping experience, clothing will be displayed in custom closets, with shoes, handbags, and accessories beautifully arranged on built-in shelving.
🔄 How It Works:
Bring: Gently used women’s clothing & accessories.
Earn: Get 1 ticket per item you bring.
Sort: Sort your items by type on the showroom displays.
Swap: Exchange your tickets for new-to-you pieces!
🎁 Giveaways & Extras:
Free to attend (Please BYO shopping bag & extra hangers if you have them!)
Snacks, drinks, & wine provided
Giveaway Alert: Our friends at Uptown Cheapskate in Georgetown are giving away 2 - $25 gift cards to help promote the area's newest premium thrifting shop experience!
💙 Swapping with a Purpose:
Leftovers will be donated to Thrift-ish, a Mobile Clothing Closet and nonprofit initiative that delivers free, gently used clothing directly to individuals in need. Whether someone is experiencing homelessness, facing financial hardship, or recovering from a crisis, Thrift-ish is there to help them dress with dignity and confidence.
Men's Clothing Needed: Since a majority of unhoused people are men, please bring men’s clothing to donate directly to Thrift-ish as well!
