AG2 is an open-source framework for building multi-agent AI systems. This is a full day hackathon — you'll start with a hands-on workshop to get up to speed, then spend the rest of the day building a working prototype and demoing it at the end.

You don't need prior AG2 experience, but you should be comfortable building software and apps.
Come solo or with a team. Both work.

Free to attend. Food provided.

Credits
All participants will get credits to use AG2 platform, dependent tools (Daytona for code execution, Tavily for web search), and Google Gemini during the hackathon.

Prizes
Best Use of AG2 for Scientific Research: Built something that could actually move the needle in a research context — data analysis, literature review, lab automation, anything that makes a researcher work faster or better.
Best Multi-Agent Collaboration on the AG2 Network: Multiple agents working together, each with a clear role, solving something that a single agent couldn't do alone.
Most Impressive AG2 Build, Any Domain Open category. Best overall build wins, regardless of what it does.

Rewards Winners will receive:

  • Platform credits — AG2 platform credits to spend on LLM costs and other tooling as you keep building after the hackathon

  • Social media spotlight — featured coverage of your project across AG2's channels

  • AG2 swag — exclusive merch from the AG2 team
