INTUITIVE [EATING] BEING
In this inaugural session of Curiosa Cafe's Spill The Juice Wellness Talk Series, we're spilling the juice on intuitive eating — and why becoming an intuitive being comes first.
We’re told to “eat intuitively,” but intuition doesn’t appear out of nowhere.
It comes from a regulated nervous system. One that feels safe enough to sense hunger, fullness, and genuine desire.
When you’re overwhelmed, underslept, stressed, or surrounded by chaos, your “intuition” isn’t intuition. It’s coping. It’s dopamine-seeking. It’s your body reaching for relief.
This workshop reframes nourishment from the ground up.
What to expect
1. Interactive workshop/talk on:
How to create the conditions where real intuition can emerge
How to to read and interpret bodily cues of what foods vibe with you (and which not so much)
Why your hunger cues depend on your lifestyle cues
How stress, relationships, and rest shape what you crave
And why becoming an intuitive being always comes before becoming an intuitive eater
2. Guided meditation/body scan to create safety in your body and reconnect with your five senses, grounding your nervous system in the present moment
3. Guided juice/snack tasting to practice presence and sensory awareness while eating, strengthening your intuition, hunger and fullness cues, and improving digestion
This is nourishment through the nervous system.
