43North Semi-Finals

​For the first time ever, 43North Semi-Finals are coming to Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship.

​On Wednesday, October 7, 15 Semi-Finalists will take the stage and pitch for a chance to advance to the final 43North Finals at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre.

​Throughout the day, founders will pitch their companies to 30+ venture capital judges from across North America. Each company will have five minutes to pitch, followed by seven minutes of Q&A. At the end of the day, eight companies will be selected to move on to the final 43North Finals.

​Join us at Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship beginning at 9:00 AM. The event is FREE and open to the public, but seating is limited.

​To get the full Semi-Finals experience, we encourage attendees to plan to join us for the morning session, afternoon session, or full day rather than coming in and out between pitches.

​Registration & Seating

​While reservations are not required, all attendees must register before entering the event. We encourage you to register in advance to save time when you arrive.

​Seating is not assigned and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

​Event Attire & Dress Code

​Golisano Institute is a professional, business-oriented campus. All event attendees, including 43North team members, guests, speakers, and visitors, are expected to follow the institute’s dress code while on campus.

​Please arrive in business professional or polished business casual attire. Attendees who do not adhere to the dress code may be denied entry.

​The following attire is not permitted for this event:

• ​Hoodies or sweatshirts

• ​Sweatpants or athletic pants

• ​Leggings

• ​Shorts

• ​Flip-flops or slippers

• ​Hats

• ​Clothing with rips, holes, or excessive distressing

• ​Clothing displaying offensive or inappropriate language or imagery

• ​Clothing with political affiliations or social stances

• ​Corduroy

• ​Flare pants

• ​Excessively busy patterns

• ​Other attire considered excessively casual or inappropriate for a professional business environment

​Appropriate attire may include: dress pants, jeans, slacks, blazers, sport coats, collared shirts, suits, dresses, skirts, professional tops, and other neat, professional clothing.
