​About the Event

​Training Session #2 concludes the in-person learning phase and marks the beginning of the product-building stage of UniHackfest 2026.

​The entire workshop is designed around one clear objective: every team should leave Room J.5.3 with a feasible product plan, clearly assigned responsibilities, and a practical roadmap for completing a working demo before the university qualifying round on September 5, 2026.

Anatomy of a working demo: essential components, user flows, and defining the right MVP scope

​9:15 – 10:00 AM
Tools to accelerate development: AI tools for coding and design, the Solana stack for on-chain products, and best practices for organizing a public repository

Preparing your competition submission: pitch deck structure, techniques for recording a 60–90 second demo video, and the final submission checklist

​11:00 – 11:45 AM
Team working session: progress presentations, direct mentor feedback, task allocation, and finalizing the August development timeline

​11:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Preparing for the September 5 Qualifying Round: competition format, judging rubric, and common mistakes to avoid

​What You Will Gain

​By the end of the workshop, each team will:

​• Complete a mentor-reviewed product development plan
• Understand the judging criteria for their selected competition track
• Learn the full submission requirements, including a working demo or devnet deployment, a public repository with a clear commit history, a pitch deck, and a backup demo video
• Finalize team responsibilities and development milestones
• Know exactly what needs to be completed during each remaining week of August
• Be fully prepared for the university qualifying round on September 5, 2026

​Students who complete both training sessions will have their participation and retention officially recorded under the program policy. This recognition confirms their full engagement in the UniHackfest journey and eligibility for the associated participant benefits.

​Who Should Attend?

​This workshop is designed for teams that have attended Training Session #1 or completed the UniHackfest online learning video series.

​Teams that have not yet finalized their product idea are still welcome to participate. Mentors will support them in selecting and refining a feasible direction during the workshop.

​What to Prepare

​Each team should bring:

​• At least one personal laptop
• Their current product idea, research, documents, designs, or technical progress
• Any existing pitch deck, prototype, repository, or task plan
• Questions or challenges they would like to discuss with mentors

​Teams are encouraged to arrive ready to work, make decisions, and turn their ideas into a clear and executable product plan.
