From Claude Blue to Claude Bloom — Coming to Singapore
After a remarkable run in Seoul, we're now bringing Claude Bloom to Singapore.
In April 2026, the very first Claude Meetup for Everyone took place in Seoul under the theme "Claude Bloom — From Claude Blue to Bloom." What we didn't expect was the response: over 2,000 people registered, the conversation went viral on Reddit, and what started as a one-off meetup has grown into Claude Bloom, now the most vibrant and honest AI community in Korea.
We're crossing the strait to share that story and to start the same conversation here, with you, in the APAC hub.
What is "Claude Blue"?
The concept began with a blog post by Patrick Han, reflecting on a conversation he had with an AI engineer in Silicon Valley titled “Claude Blue Is Spreading Across Silicon Valley”. The observation was counterintuitive but striking:
The people using AI to the fullest are often most depressed.
Not because AI threatens their jobs, but because the infinite possibilities AI opens up create a strange emptiness - a mix of awe, fear, and the quiet realization that there's no one to talk to about any of it.
Patrick called this feeling Claude Blue after Covid Blue.
The post struck a nerve no one expected. It resonated not just with founders and engineers, but with people across enterprises, public institutions, and creative industries. When Patrick shared the concept with Singapore's Claude Ambassadors Max and Yier, the response was immediate: “Honestly – who among us hasn’t felt Claude Blue?”
It seems to be a universal phenomenon among AI-native workers, regardless of geography.
Why Bloom?
If we believe in the future this technology is building, then how we live alongside AI deserves just as much thought as what we build with it.
Bloom is the answer to Blue. It's the invitation to those who've felt the weight of this moment to gather, share where they are, and imagine where they want to go next - not just as AI users, but as AI-native humans and organizations.
This isn't a productivity talk. It's a fireside-style conversation where founders, engineers, researchers, creatives, and public-sector leaders sit in the same room and speak honestly. Some leave with comfort. Some leave with inspiration. Everyone leaves a little less alone.
What This Singapore Edition Brings to the Table
Patrick is flying in from Seoul to share the journey directly - what Claude Blue looked like in Korea, how Bloom became a community, and what he's learned along the way. Beyond the agenda itself, this is also an opportunity to open a conversation on Korea–Singapore AI collaboration, and to share the perspective of a Korean AI company building toward APAC, here in the region's hub.
