About Event

BUILD FOR HER is a one-day Women’s Social Impact Hackathon presented by RoamHer.

On October 10, we’re bringing together 30–40 women across engineering, AI/data, product, design, research, and subject-matter expertise in San Francisco to build around three challenge areas:

Women’s Health
Economic Mobility
Women’s Safety

Participants will form 6–8 multidisciplinary teams, spend the day building, and present a working prototype or demonstrable solution to a panel of judges.

You do not need to arrive with a team or an idea. Teams will be intentionally formed based on skills, experience, and challenge interests, with technical builders represented on every team.

We’re looking for women across engineering, AI/ML, data, product, UX/UI, design, research, healthcare, public health, finance, fintech, trust & safety, policy, entrepreneurship, and relevant domain expertise.

Technical and nontechnical applicants are welcome.
