Mobilizing Climate Finance for a Climate Resilient Bangkok

​🏙 Today, worsening climate scenarios such as heat stress, more intense and frequent floods, and land subsidence are adversely impacting Bangkok’s critical infrastructure and community well-being.

​🌱 During BKKCAW, Climate Finance Network Thailand (CFNT) will host an event to deliberate how comprehensive insights into finance flows can support climate change mitigation and adaptation outcomes in Bangkok and similar dense urban settings.

​💲 The event begins with a presentation by CFNT on the Thailand’s climate finance landscape, featuring insights from CFNT’s Thailand Climate Finance Tracker. The recently-launched tool is first of its kind in the country, providing detailed information on climate finance flows, aimed at mobilizing more financial resources towards climate action.

​🌐 CFNT will then host a panel discussion titled ‘Financing Climate Action in Bangkok – Challenges & Opportunities’, featuring an international panel of experts that include:
