Community Care Walk: East Vancouver
In Response to the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival Tragedy
Limit: 20 participants | Please register only if you could make it to the walk 100% sure. By not showing up, you are taking away a spot that someone else could have used.
Join us for a solidarity walk—a quiet, shared journey that offers space for reflection, healing, and human connection in the wake of tragedy.
The recent events at the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival have deeply affected many in our city. While it struck the heart of the Filipino community, the grief and shock extend beyond cultural lines. This is a moment that touches all of us who believe in safe, joyful public spaces and the right to gather without fear.
This walk is a gentle response—an opportunity to move together, breathe deeply, and create a space of healing and solidarity. We walk not just to network, but to listen, to comfort, and to remind each other that we’re not alone.
We walk for connection, for care, and for community.
