Guided Nature Walk on the Highline with Cornell Lab of Ornithology

​Start your Day of Action outdoors on the NYC Highline. Join Dr. Amanda Rodewald, Garvin Professor and Senior Director of Conservation Science at Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Cornell University, for a guided bird identification walk. The Highline exemplifies how cities can reclaim neglected infrastructure to create vital urban habitats and green space. This adaptive reuse project demonstrates the intersection of nature restoration and urban regeneration—core to reimagining how companies and cities can advance nature-positive outcomes.

​You will identify birds and learn how Cornell Lab tools—Merlin and eBird—generate biodiversity data that can be used to design and measure corporate nature and biodiversity protection, restoration, and sustainable management efforts.
