About Event

Join us inside the historic Coral Gables Museum for a panel conversation: Materials, Mastery, & Meaning: The Art of Enduring Design, moderated by Harriet Mays Powell, Editor-in-Chief of Palm Beach Cottages & Gardens

In Coral Gables, beauty has always been built with intention. This conversation gathers the makers and visionaries behind the region’s most enduring spaces, from residences to hospitality to artisanal design.

Together, panelists will explore how thoughtful materials, generational craftsmanship, and meaning transform a structure into an inheritance. It’s a curated conversation for those who believe the truest luxury is measured not in what impresses today, but in what endures for generations.

DAY OF DESIGN

Day of Design is Coral Gables’ first design district promenade, uniting the city’s leading showrooms for a single day of panels, workshops, and receptions.

Day of Design brings together a curated group of showrooms for an afternoon-to-evening experience celebrating the showrooms, craftsmanship, and creative energy of Coral Gables’ design community. As the first event of its kind in the area, the program connects designers, tastemakers, entrepreneurs, and design-forward audiences with the city’s growing design scene through a full day of programming, all centered on a single idea: a day when design takes over the district.
