Startup Kids Club: Nature Walk at The Science Centre
The Startup Kids Club will meet at the Science Centre this Sunday, 29 June 2025 from 2-5 pm. We will explore the Science Centre Eco Garden, which is an outdoor learning space designed as a living laboratory. It features a variety of plants, flowers and insects in a natural environment. From succulents to monitor lizards to dragonflies, there are lots of living things present in the Ecogarden if you look hard enough. Take a guided tour and see what you can spot!
Agenda:
2:00-2:30 pm Arrive and walk around the Science Centre with other SKC members
2:30-3:00 pm After everyone arrives, we will meet for a short overview.
3:00-5:00 pm Tour of the Eco Garden inside the Science Centre with SKC teenage member Joshua Goh.

About Joshua, our tour guide:
Joshua Goh has multi-faceted interests, enjoys learning and seeing how the different elements of different fields relate to each other. He believes in hands-on and applied learning and experiences. At 11, he was featured in a WWF video for Earth Hour on his ant collection and the importance of conserving the environment.
Since then, he has taken on internships at Science Centre (part of which involved cataloguing the flora and fauna at the Ecogarden), NUS Mechatronics and Automation Lab, and Sovereign’s Capital. He has also been a delegate for the Youth Leaders Davos Program that was held in Davos on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum. Additionally, Joshua has organized and spoken at multiple workshops varying from Lego to ants to 3D printing, and is a member of the Singapore Academy of Young Engineers and Scientists.
