Vibe Coding 101 (NYC)

​NYC, June 18th: come learn how to build apps and automations using AI! This workshop is free, and no technical experience required.

​In this workshop, you'll learn how to ship working software in just minutes, with instructors on hand to help you as you add functionality and hook up your app to other tools and data sources. All you need is a laptop!

​What you will build

• ​A personal website

  • ​Extension: A data (API) connection to display the local weather

  • ​Extension: A guest book where visitors can leave comments

• ​An automation that sends you an AI-powered news summary every morning

• ​And then: whatever else you want! (Slackbot, Weekly What I Accomplished Summary, etc)

​6:00 — Doors open

​6:30 — Hands on workshop

​7:15 — Pizza arrives, individual build time

​8:00 — Demos, Q&A & wrap-up

​This workshop is hosted at the Val Town office in Downtown Brooklyn. Val Town is the fastest way to build and deploy apps with AI!

​Attendees will get $100 in Val Town credits to use for the session, and we'll also cover integrating with Claude, Codex, or other coding agents.
