About Event

Ethereum Hackathon Sydney will bring together Australian and international builders to develop Ethereum applications and reusable open-source components.

The hackathon will follow the EAG Global Hackathon track framework while encouraging projects that respond to local users, industries, communities and opportunities in Australia.

Overall Structure

  • 25 September: Track introduction, team formation, building and mentor support.

  • 26 September: Continued building, final submissions, project demonstrations, judging and awards.

The detailed schedule, application process, judging criteria, prizes and follow-up support will be developed by the Hackathon team.

Track definitions will remain consistent with the existing EAG Global Hackathon Tracks.

What will happen

Participants will:

  • form or join teams;

  • choose a project track;

  • build a prototype;

  • receive support from specialist mentors;

  • present their project;

  • connect with EAG’s global builder initiatives and the ETH Floripa community.
