Home Assistant MAAC

The MAAC Foundation is a regional training facility that hosts Fire Police and EMS training, We are also the home of the Northwest Indiana HAM radio club. They have been a huge help in automating our campus with Home Assistant. I have been in home automation since 1977 first using X10 and then Insteon Technology. I have been absolutely amazed this past year at what Home Assistant can do and will do in the future. I want to share what I have learned with others as well as learn from others. Come join us for part of the day and lets talk Tech

We will have a Home Assistant server running and a table full of various devices. Bring a device you have and we will show how it can be accessed with Home Assistant Integrations. We will also be giving a demo of Meshtastic and up and coming 900 mhz open source texting capability.
