​Join UCL Data Science Society for an exciting afternoon of hands-on machine learning! Our ML Stock Prediction Hackathon challenges you to build the most accurate stock prediction model using real-world techniques.

​📋 What to Expect:

• ​2:00-2:30 PM: Introduction & ML Tutorial - Our Science Division will guide you through essential scikit-learn techniques, including data validation, feature engineering, linear regression, and model evaluation

• ​2:30-5:30 PM: Hacking Time - Build and refine your prediction model, compete on our Kaggle leaderboard

• ​5:30-6:00 PM: Results & Prize Ceremony - See who built the best model and claim prizes!

​Students interested in machine learning, data science, finance, fintech, or quantitative analysis. This event is perfect for building practical skills and your data science portfolio.

​✅ Prerequisites:

​Python knowledge (numpy, pandas, matplotlib) is assumed. Need a refresher? Check out our Term 1 Python tutorials at linktr.ee/ucldata
