Ocean-Climate Action in a Changing World
As ocean and climate risks intensify, governments, communities, researchers, investors, and innovators are grappling with how to respond at the pace and scale required. This event will explore interconnected challenges at the ocean-climate nexus, including the changing international policy landscape and practical barriers to advancing action across sectors. The program will highlight efforts underway to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, remove legacy CO2 pollution, restore critical ocean systems, and build global capacity and support for ocean-climate action. It will also mark the launch of Launchpad 2.0, Ocean Visions’ next phase of support for ocean-climate innovators working to move promising ideas toward responsible development.
