Faiths for Oceans: From Moral Responsibility to Ocean Action
What do we owe the ocean, the people who depend on it, and the lives within it?
Join Faiths for Oceans for the launch of The Moral Catch, a new report exploring the moral questions behind fisheries: what we protect, whom we nourish, whose rights we uphold, and when we choose restraint. Together, we’ll explore what these responsibilities mean for our communities and institutions, and how they can shape practical ocean action.
The conversation will lead into the Faiths High Ambition Coalition for Ocean & Nature Action (HAC), through which faith institutions make public, trackable commitments across advocacy, education, stewardship, finance and mobilisation. We’ll explore the partnerships needed to deliver those commitments, connecting conservation science and expertise with faith communities’ trusted networks, teaching, purchasing and investment decisions.
Whether you work in conservation, faith, policy or finance, come to meet potential collaborators, share your expertise and identify opportunities to turn shared concern into sustained action.
