It hurts, and often nobody explains why. Most of the time it has nothing to do with your design. The decision was made at a higher level, in a language designers were never taught: OKRs, KPIs, roadmaps, trade-offs.
In this talk, Aleksandra Lazović, who went from Senior Product Designer to Product Manager at N26, explains the language and the money logic behind it. So you understand why decisions happen and can take part in them before your work gets cut.
