Regulation 10 - Consultation Update

​The DIFC is consulting on proposed updates to its AI governance regime — known as ‘Regulation 10’ — under the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 (2020). A large proportion of DIFC-registered companies are likely to have systems that fall within the scope of this regulation.

​Join us for a practical update on the proposed changes, a refresher on the core requirements and expectations of Regulation 10, what to expect if the regulator comes knocking, and the no-regret actions organisations should be taking now.

​We will also consider the wider dimensions of effective corporate governance over AI, including the questions boards and leadership teams should be asking and the actions they should be taking.
