The_Form Gallery would like to invite you to opening reception of Between Skin and Stone - a visual dialogue between sculptor Lana Maytak and collage artist
Anna Nekrasova.
Marble sculptures and conceptual collages are presented side by side, allowing
visitors to experience a sculpture before encountering another artist’s response to it. Each collage is an independent artwork that interprets, rather than illustrates, the sculpture it accompanies.
Every collage also contains an element of a mutual friend whose experience with cancer
inspired the collaboration and the accompanying fundraiser.
Together, the exhibition explores
how art can transform perception, deepen dialogue, and bring people together.
