Climate Writing Workshop: Gaining Confidence in Your Ideas
Climate change hasn’t become any less urgent, even if it’s being talked about less. If anything, the need to communicate clearly, thoughtfully, and consistently about climate has only grown.
That’s what this session is about.
If you’re working in climate or sustainability, or simply feel that we all have a role to play, you’re very welcome to join this climate writing session. The aim is to keep refining how we communicate, while building a small community of people who support each other and believe that thoughtful communication can make a difference. No prior writing experience is needed, just the motivation to engage and contribute.
This session focuses on building clarity and confidence in your climate thinking.
If you’d like to participate, come prepared with three key ideas you’ve recently encountered related to climate, energy, sustainability, or a related topic; ideas you believe are important and that more people should understand.
These can be small or large in scope. Take a moment to reflect on:
Why does this idea matter to you?
Why should it matter to others?
What makes it timely or urgent?
During the workshop, we’ll unpack these ideas together and explore formats you can later develop further; whether that’s a short post, an article, a briefing, or something else entirely.
It’s not about getting everything right, but about working through your ideas and finding a way to express them that feels true to you.
Note: We aim to be good neighbors, so feel free to grab a coffee or something to eat at Silvana while you’re there.
