In this talk, Johannes Koch, a fellowship manager at Safe AI Germany (SAIGE), will be introducing the field of AI safety and holding a Q&A session on the topic. He'll be going over the risks posed by advanced AI, how they can be solved, and how people with different skillsets can get involved in addressing these problems. The talk is open to all students and no background knowledge is required.
