About Event

We are excited to welcome you to 2Flo Ventures' Third Annual Health Equity Pitch Competition!

Three idea-stage founders will present their companies, and judges will decide the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-place awards for the most novel ideas to advance health equity! More than just a pitch competition, we aim to support early-stage founders from non-traditional backgrounds and provide them with the resources they need to reach their next milestone. As part of the award, we have leaders (potentially you) donating their time to support the finalists, and we hope to rally the community to help these individuals on their journey to advance health equity.

If you'd like to support, you can donate your time and expertise upon registration to get more involved!

For founders interested in applying, the submission link is here, and further guidance is provided below: Application for 2Flo Ventures Health Equity Pitch Competition | 2026

2Flo Ventures Health Equity Pitch Competition Guidelines:

We aim to amplify and support early-stage startups and ideas that offer novel solutions to advance health equity. For this competition, we are industry-agnostic and are more focused on your specific idea and solution for advancing health equity.

The CDC defines Health Equity as "The state in which everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health". Learn more about Health Equity on the CDC Office of Health Equity website. Solutions in this space may be outside of healthcare, and we are excited to hear your perspective! Past 1st place winners have been FoodTech and EdTech!

1st Place | Awarded $1,000 cash and $5,000 of In-Kind Donations

2nd Place | Awarded $600 cash and $2,000 of In-Kind Donations

3rd Place | Awarded $400 and $1,000 of In-Kind Donations

The In-Kind donations vary from legal, finance, pitch, presentation, strategy, marketing, regulatory, business development, design, and other forms of support from leaders across the city! In addition to a cash award, we want to get you plugged into and supported by the leaders dedicated to advancing health equity.
