03 | Fireside Chat with Young Founders / Student Crash Course to Estonia’s Startup Ecosystem
How far are you really from starting?
For the third stop of our Student Crashcourse, we are changing the format.
Instead of another presentation about the ecosystem, we are sitting down with two young founders – Aaron Unt and Kaarel Kask – for an open fireside conversation about what it actually looks like to start building.
Not the polished version. The decisions, uncertainty, mistakes, people, money and moments where you have to take a leap without knowing exactly what happens next.
Together we’ll talk about:
how they actually got started
when an idea became something worth building
taking the leap and dealing with uncertainty
finding the right co-founders, teammates and people around you
getting the first customers and gaining momentum
raising capital and talking to investors
scaling when things start moving quickly
mistakes, difficult decisions and what they would do differently
what they would tell someone who is thinking about starting today
The conversation will be moderated by Rasmus Kalep (TalTech Startup Manager and MIMIR Fellows alumni), followed by an open Q&A, so bring the questions you would actually want to ask a founder.
This event is especially for students who have thought:
“I would like to build something one day, but I don’t know where to begin.”
You do not need a startup. You do not need a pitch deck. You do not even need an idea.
Just curiosity. That’s the only ticket in.
