An evening with Inspyre: Home away from home
An Evening with Inspyre: Home Away From Home is an intimate evening of storytelling, reflection, and conversation exploring what it means to leave, rebuild, and belong.
Hosted by Inspyre during Refugee Week, the evening brings together guest speakers, community voices, and organisations working within migration and refugee spaces for a thoughtful and human conversation around home, movement, identity, and hope.
Across three chapters — Home, The Journey, and Home Away From Home — guests will hear personal stories, spoken word performances, and reflective discussions centred around lived experience and empathy. Throughout the evening, audience members will also be invited to take part in quiet reflection moments through handwritten postcards exploring what home means to them.
The atmosphere of the evening is calm, warm, and conversational. Expect candlelight, tea and coffee, honest stories, and a space designed for listening, reflection, and connection.
This is not a political debate.
It is an evening about people.
Hosted by Inspyre in partnership with Westminster Libraries, Churchill Fellowship, Counterpoints Arts and Urban Rise
