County of San Diego DIY Sustainability Toolkit Loans

​The County of San Diego is offering free Do-It-Yourself Sustainability Toolkit loans for unincorporated residents. Each toolkit includes tools and a step-by-step guide to help you identify opportunities to save energy and water, potentially lower your utility bills, and live more sustainably.

​Inventory is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants receive a tote bag with free giveaways, such as LED lightbulbs, weatherstripping, and a low-flow showerhead, while supplies last. Online reservations are recommended.

​While you’re here, visit the table to learn more about the County’s Climate Action Plan, explore sustainability programs and resources, and ask County staff questions about sustainability in your home and community!
