About Event

Every week, someone shows the room a film they've never actually watched — and never on anything bigger than a laptop or TV, until now.

For our 4th screening, we'll be showing Griffin Dunne's Practical Magic (1998).

Two witch sisters, raised by their eccentric aunts in a small town, face closed-minded prejudice and a curse which threatens to prevent them ever finding lasting love.

Moody New England atmosphere, Bullock and Kidman at their most charming, and a soundtrack that's become inseparable from the whole "autumn witch movie" aesthetic it helped invent.
