

Zig Day 01
Approximate timeline:
- 10:00 – 10:30: gathering, bagels, chit-chat 
- 10:30 – 11:00: explain projects, form groups, set up workstations 
- 11:00 – 13:00: work on stuff together 
- 13:00 – 14:30: lunch break 
- 14:30 – 16:30: work on stuff together (continued) 
- 16:30 – 17:00: show others what you made and what you learned 
Zig Days are full-day, collaborative programming events.

- The main goal of a Zig Day is to inspire you to make Software You Can Love. 
- Zig days are for collaboration and socialization. Avoid working on code you can’t collaborate on (e.g. because of its license) and try to have engaging conversations with other people. 
- Software You Can Love is high quality software, and the only way to make high quality software is to apply systems thinking. 
- Software You Can Love serves the end user. Zig Days are a great opportunity to learn how to fight against user-hostile software. 
- Lastly, learn some Zig.
