Forest Walk with Pina Earth
Join us for an exclusive forest walk following the European Biodiversity Coalition’s Nature Lunch at the World Economic Forum 2026.
Hosted by Pina Earth and Wald-Klimaschutz Schweiz (Forest Climate Protection Association Switzerland), this exclusive event invites you to step into the calm winter landscape of Davos and explore the local forest ecosystem while gaining insights into a certified climate project in a European forest.
Jodok Batlogg, CEO of Pina Earth, will explain more about our climate protection projects across Europe and the ongoing work in Davos.
Along the way, Philipp Zehntner, Project Forester and Project Manager for Forest Climate Projects and Markus Hubert, Head of the Davos Forest Management Department, will share first-hand insights into the local forest in Davos, including its biodiversity, the key challenges it faces, and the sustainable management and restoration activities that support climate resilience.
A warm fire offers the perfect setting to connect, exchange ideas, and meet fellow members of the climate and biodiversity community.
To make the moment truly unforgettable, we have prepared a special surprise for all guests - one that last year created an atmosphere of pure goosebumps.
This immersive nature experience is approximately 1.5 hours long.
After the networking session, the group will be guided back through the forest to complete this unique winter walk.
