About Event

Join us for a full-day AI hackathon in Singapore focused on building autonomous web agents that can browse, search, and extract real-time data from the open web with TinyFish!

Chatbots are cool, but they're limited. We’re bringing the Singapore dev community together to build autonomous web agents β€” AI that can actually browse, search, and extract the messy parts of the open web in real-time. TinyFish gives your agents the eyes and ears they need to actually do things in production.

Partnering with OpenAI

We're excited to be partnering with OpenAI to fuel this hackathon. Participants will get direct access to OpenAI's latest models and Codex tools to help architect, debug, and ship complex agentic workflows. By combining OpenAI’s world-class reasoning with TinyFish’s web-layer infrastructure, you’ll have everything you need to build the next generation of autonomous agents.

Note: Since we have limited physical space at the venue, we're capping this at 300 hackers. Registration is subject to approval. If you're in a team, every member must register individually to secure a spot.

Agenda

  • 09:00 AM – 09:45 AM: Registration

    • Check-in, grab your exclusive TinyFish swag, and finalize team formation.

  • 09:45 AM – 10:30 AM: Opening & Technical Workshop

    • Opening remarks, followed by a deep-dive workshop on TinyFish APIs and OpenAI Codex to get your environment ready.

  • 10:30 AM: Hacking Begins

    • Ready, set, build! Mentors will be roaming the floor to help with agent architecture.

  • 12:30 PM: Working Lunch

    • Catered lunch is served. Keep building - maximize your time before the freeze.

  • 04:30 PM: Code Freeze & Submissions

    • Hard stop for coding. Teams must submit their GitHub repositories and project demos for review.

  • 05:30 PM: Finalist Showdown

    • The top teams take the main stage to demo their autonomous agents in front of our panel of judges.

  • 06:30 PM: Winner Announcement & Closing

    • Awards ceremony and closing thoughts on the future of the Open Web.

  • 07:00 PM: Exit

The Challenge

There is no fixed problem statement. We want you to solve a hard, real-world problem using the Open Web as your database.

Whether it's automating deep research, performing high-scale extraction where traditional scrapers fail, or building "eyes and ears" for autonomous agents - if it operates on the live web, it’s fair game. We value technical complexity, utility, and agents that can handle the "messy" parts of the internet.

Need inspiration? You could explore:

  • β€‹πŸ”Ή Complex Data Extraction β€” Structure data from dynamic or anti-bot sources that traditional tools can’t touch.

  • β€‹πŸ”Ή Autonomous Research β€” Build agents that navigate the deep web to synthesize findings in real-time.

  • β€‹πŸ”Ή Market & Social Intel β€” Create "sentries" that monitor pricing, news, or sentiment signals across fragmented platforms.

  • β€‹πŸ”Ή Agentic Infrastructure β€” Build the evals or navigation logic that helps agents operate more reliably on the web.

The only rule: Build something high-leverage that pushes the boundaries of the agentic web.

* Every team member will receive one each.

β€‹πŸ‘€ Secret Spot Prizes

We've also got these fun spot prizes for teams that build something unique. We're keeping the gifts a surprise now, but here is what we're looking for:

  • β€‹πŸŒŠ Deep Sea Architect: Technical elegance + "Aha!" moment. For the team that solves a massive, positive problem using the Open Web in a way that feels like magic.

  • β€‹πŸ¦„ Most Likely to Be the Next Unicorn: Awarded for the best product vision and PMF (Product-Market Fit).

  • πŸ”₯ Most Likely to Go Viral (for the Wrong Reasons): For the most unhinged, "Black Mirror" style use of autonomous agents.

  • β€‹πŸ‰ The Rube Goldberg / "Most over-engineered solution": For the team that builds an unnecessarily complex (but beautiful) way to solve a problem.

  • β€‹πŸŸ WTF (What the Fish): Reserved for the most bizarre, hilarious, or "why does this exist?" use case of the day.

Note: We are also providing TinyFish + OpenAI API credits for everyone to fuel their builds during the hackathon, plus the exclusive hackathon swags πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
