Hello everyone!
The Somaiya Storytelling Society cordially invites you to Aaghaz—an exciting open mic and jam session hosted at the Tagore Amphitheatre.
Whether you are a seasoned musician, a poet, a storyteller, or simply looking to take a break from your pending academic assignments to enjoy live music and support your peers, this event is designed for everyone.

🎤 Open Mic & Live Jam Session 🎸: Step up to the mic to sing, dance, perform that one unsaid poetry or tell a story —no matter your skill level. Even if you don’t perform, bring your enthusiasm and be part of an engaging audience.
💸 Prize Money& Exciting Goodies 🎁: Stand a chance to win exciting prize money for the top 3 performers and take home complimentary goodies provided for everyone.
🧠 Zero Academic Pressure 📚❌: A complete afternoon dedicated to fun, creativity, performance, and vibrant music before heading home.

Have a personal story or meaningful experience to share? Participate in our Story Box contest during the event.
📌 Topic 1: Write about a moment you realized an environment was not inclusive. How did that experience impact you and your future directions?
📌 Topic 2: Write a personal story about a defining moment in your life that changed your perspective or direction.
Contest Guidelines:
🗣️ Language: Submissions are accepted in English or Hindi.
📏 Word Limit: Maximum of 250 words.
How to Participate:
📝 Write: Express your thoughts on your chosen topic.
📥 Drop: Place your submission anonymously into the designated Story Box at the venue.
🎙️ Listen: Sit back as selected entries are read aloud live during the event.
🏆 Prizes: The best written entries will receive exciting Prize Money! 💰
Registration & Guest Entry Guidelines
🎭 For Performers: If you select "Performer" during registration you will have to fill the additional Performer Form sent directly to your registered email immediately after registration. Your performer registration is only complete after submitting these additional details. (Audience members can safely ignore the email link.)
🪪 For External / Non-Somaiya Guests: Entry to the campus strictly requires presenting a valid College Student ID Card along with your digital Luma Event Pass at the security gate.
