​TEDxKwaraStateUniversity 2026, themed “BEYOND THE MACHINE,” explores a defining question of our time: as machines become increasingly capable, what should humans become?

​As artificial intelligence moves from experimentation into everyday life, the conversation can no longer focus only on what technology can do. We must also examine what technological progress means for human creativity, identity, education, work, leadership, responsibility, and purpose.

​The inaugural TEDxKwaraStateUniversity brings together 100 curated minds from across technology, creativity, research, entrepreneurship, education, and community leadership for a day of TED-style talks, creative performances, and meaningful exchange.

​Hosted at Kwara State University, Malete, the event creates a space for ideas that move beyond technological capability and toward human possibility.
