StoryTell 1/14: Transitions
Join StoryTell for an evening of connection through conversation and personal storytelling. We'll explore our perspectives, curiosities, and personal stories on the theme of "Transitions".
Transitions represent the in-betweens — the moments between resolving the old and arrival of something new. Transitions ask us to sit in the gray, to grieve what no longer fits while not yet knowing what comes next. Think about a time where you found yourself between versions of your life. What did you have to release so something else could emerge? When in your life did you learn to trust the becoming, rather than the outcome? Or where have you resisted transition or lingered in it longer than expected? What has a season of transition taught you about who you are becoming?
This event is part of Digital Detox week at Fabrik. A week dedicated to helping New Yorkers get off their phones and into real-life connections.
What to expect:
🗣️ Part conversation! We'll get intellectual in small group discussions, expanding on our deeper feelings, emotions, and perspectives around our theme.

📖 Part storytelling! Feeling inspired by our conversation? Have a story to share? We'll be sharing true, personal stories based on an evolution you went through.
Stories are optional, open to anyone, and are limited to 3-5 minutes.
This is a low-stakes opportunity to share your story with a warm, open community in a "campfire stories" setting.
💖 All community. Come to build in-person relationships through vulnerability, courage, and shared experience. You'll meet new open-minded, curious friends through deeper, intentional connection.
