Kwara Campus Poetry Championship Grand Finale

The Kwara Campus Poetry Championship (KCPC) is an innovative literary and creative development initiative designed to identify, nurture, and showcase emerging poetic talents across tertiary institutions in Kwara State, Nigeria. Convened by Dr. Mohammed El-Nasir Al-Amin in partnership with the Kwara State Government, the Ilorin Creative and Cultural Foundation, and the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Kwara State Chapter. KCPC leverages poetry and performance arts as instruments for youth empowerment, gender equity, social responsibility, cultural preservation, and shared nation-building. Through capacity-building workshops, mentorship, inter-institutional poetry competitions, and professional engagement with established writers, scholars, and creative practitioners, the initiative provides a platform for young people to develop their artistic abilities, critical thinking, leadership skills, and civic consciousness while promoting creativity, innovation, and the growth of Kwara State’s literary and cultural ecosystem.
