Geo Tokyo Meetup : Summer 2026

Join us for our 8th Geo Tokyo Meetup — a casual and friendly group of mapping enthusiasts in Tokyo.

We'll be casually chatting about all things cartographic and mapping: Beautiful data visualizations, GIS tech, cool map based projects, etc.

• What are some projects in Japan that you found interesting?

• What are you working on now?

• Is your company working on map related tech and interested in giving a demo?

To thank our generous venue hosts, FabCafe. You will be asked to support them by buying a minimum of one drink from the cafe for joining.

Agenda

• 18:00 Doors Open

• 18:30 Intros

• 18:45 Talks & Demos & Discussion

• 19:30 Closing

We'll be discussing FOSS4G that just happened in Hiroshima, and a roundtable sharing of maps people have built. We'll also have time to share some cool Japanese (and world wide) maps and geo data.
