Cold Recycling California's Roads: Live Site Demonstration
Watch a road rebuilt using the road that is already there.
Join ClimatePave for a working demonstration of cold in place recycling on an active public road project in Danville, California on either October 6th or 7th
A full pavement recycling demonstration will show the milling, mixing, and rebuilding of road in a single pass, reusing 100% of the existing material in place. Experience what circularity looks like in practice, and how cleaning up the emissions in this sector have impacts on any place a road needs rehabilitation.
On site you will:
See the demonstration, performed by MCK Services a member of ClimatePave's carbon project VCS4546, the first carbon methodology in sustainable roadbuilding.
Meet the crews and the city planning officials who specify this work
Join a short workshop and Q and A with the contractor team and the Recycling and Stabilization Association of California, covering cost savings, emissions reductions and where the method could be applied next
Places are limited and site PPE is provided.
Exact timing is confirmed on RSVP.
