Agent Development Kit (ADK): A Beginner's Guide

​Building production-ready AI agents—especially multi-modal or multi-agent systems—can be complex. That’s where the Agent Development Kit (ADK) comes in. ADK is a new open-source project from Google, created to streamline agent development based on Google’s own internal expertise. It offers a powerful, flexible foundation that’s model-agnostic, deployment-agnostic, and fully interoperable. With built-in multi-modal streaming and an intuitive UI for local debugging, ADK makes building agents feel as natural as modern software development.
